Coast Copper Corp. has acquired three mineral properties—Borealis, Northern Contact, and Loren—totalling 11,579 hectares in British Columbia’s Toodoggone mining district. The acquisition was completed through direct staking, a process that involves registering claims on unoccupied Crown land open for mineral exploration. As such, the Province of British Columbia, through its Mineral Titles Branch, is a key party in facilitating and regulating the transaction. While no other companies were directly involved, the newly acquired properties are strategically located adjacent to exploration projects by Amarc Resources, Centerra Gold, and TDG Gold, enhancing their potential value. No financial terms were disclosed.
